Undine- Baroque Pearl & Opal necklace

An organic, sea inspired design, hand carved in wax and cast in solid sterling silver. Adorned with a large claw set cream baroque pearl and an Australian opal accent stone. The soft warm lustrous tones of the pearl are perfectly complemented by turquoise, purple and green shimmering play of colour in the opal, reminiscent of light dancing across water. This piece has been oxidised to create a dark contrast and represent the mysterious depths of the sea. A one of a kind piece with a rustic charm, a reimagining of a classic style. Named Undine after the beautiful elemental water spirits of European folklore who gain a soul by marrying a mortal but are doomed to kill their husband if he is unfaithful 🖤

This pendant suspended centrally between large double paper links and diamond cut belcher chain with bolt ring closure. Total necklace length 17inches, pendant width 25mm and length 20mm.
